“New ICEland – Land of the Unfree” – where ICEland has nothing in common with the Scandinavian island except for the name – represents the Trumpist machinations of the American immigration authority ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement), which tramples democracy underfoot (with weapons and violence). ICE is waging a war against unwanted citizens. The country that only became a great nation through immigration now deals ruthlessly with people who have fallen under suspicion of being migrants. In modern America, a new class is emerging – pariahs with immigrant backgrounds.
