Start—Introducing Artdig WorX

No social media integration, no comments section, no sales function, no full-text search, only minimal structure — and yet a site worth visiting. IF you’re willing to let go of strategic, tightly orchestrated user guidance. IF you bring the curiosity to feel your way forward through a mass of data in the dark. IF you have the time, the leisure, and the patience, and aren’t intent on reaching a specific destination as quickly as possible.

Artdig WorX is meant to be a playground not just for visitors, but also — naturally — for me. And even though it may be hard to associate with IT matters, it’s a kind of “digital detox” (after a career as a software developer and later, among other things, as a computer science teacher, I believe I’m entitled to call it that).

So feel free to “poke around aimlessly in the dark,” stay curious about what you’ll stumble upon, and don’t let the sheer volume of data impress or repel you: Play.

Journal: What may be helpful in navigating the site can be found in the Journal under the entry “Site And Navigation In A Nutshell” (August ’25). Otherwise, entries provide updates and art-related content.

Portfolio: The Portfolio contains the collection of works, sorted in descending order — meaning the most recently added work appears at the top, the “oldest” at the bottom.

Documents: Holds art books, magazines, and other publications along with associated reviews.

Terms of Criticism: Provides a glossary of technical terms from the field of art criticism.

I’m Arslohgo: A kind of “About” page.

A note on the German-language version
Since the primary site is the English-language version and takes priority in maintenance, updates to the German-language site may be implemented with some delay.

P.S.: This page wasn’t originally planned, but I let myself be convinced that a “Start” menu option could serve well as an entry point.
