New Appearance—Time for a Facelift

Unlike with most of my pictures, finding a suitable website that I like seems to be quite a lengthy process with several intermediate stages. I am by no means concerned with a website concept involving things like target group analysis, content strategy, structured workflow, or the like. This is a private website with no commercial interests, and it should remain that way. I am simply looking for a form that really appeals to me visually and functionally. So you can be sure that more “facelifts” will follow…

LIMITING CONTENT TO MINI POSTERS

From a scientific perspective, creativity is your ability to think of something original from connections made between pre-existing ideas in your brain. These connections are controlled by neurotransmitters like adenosine, which alerts your brain when you’re running out of energy and reacts.

FROM «ARS.LOHGO.MET» TO «ARTDIG.LOHGO.NET»

In this context, it was only logical to adapt the original generic domain name and thus the domain itself (the Internet address) accordingly. The address is now “artdig.lohgo.net” (artes digitales/art digital) and the name of the website is “ArtDig Worx.”

PROJECTS, NO GALLERIES

In addition, the presentation structure has changed. Works and their descriptions are now organized into projects in a portfolio. Extra galleries aren’t necessary anymore, .

SOME TECHNICAL NOTE

The web versions of the images have been converted to 8-bit 100 dpi CMYK format and compressed using Afiv in order to reduce their size and improve performance. The original images are available in 16-bit 300 dpi CMYK format.
