This work emerged from my intellectual engagement with appropriation art, the question of the absolute original, and, in this context, the role of art criticism. And that’s what this piece is really about. Particularly in the context of digital art, a fundamental rethinking and reorientation are inevitable. Details can be found in the AI art criticism that I commission for each of my works.

It’s only logical that the starting point for “Art Criticism Reinstalled” would be found on the worldwide web. I essentially “gutted” this image, leaving only the museum space and empty picture frames. The frames have been restocked with some of my own works, and the people present in the space have been transformed into translucent shadow beings.
